We've just come back from yet another action packed Bristol Sound and Vision show. For those of you that have never had the chance to go, it's room after room after room of Audio Visual heaven. It's one of those few times that you get a chance to listen to the Hi-Fi systems that most can only dream of. Along with product launches, new technologies and lots of great little gadgets you'll meet plenty of like minded audio geeks that'll be happy to chat tech all day look. We would recommend it to everyone!

The guys at Canton provided a real treat for the audio enthusiast this year. Displaying a number of different models from entry level to top end, the Canton room was certainly talked about.

We've been speaking with the Guys from Canton in the the UK to get an idea of what they will be showing at The Bristol sound and Vision show next week.

In room 412 you can look forward to seeing a range of 2 channel stand-mount speakers from the amazing near entry level Chrono SL 520's right up to the Reference 9.2's which will be driven by a pair of Rega monoblock amps.

Next door in room 410 you can see the Canton Movie 1000.2 full 5.1 system in action with an Optoma 3D projector. We're really excited that Canton have decided to show this system because we think it is the best value system in the whole range.

Today High End Speaker is delighted to announce that Tech Radar has awarded the Canton Vento 820 four and a half stars in their review. (does anyone actually get 5 stars anymore . . )

The Canton Vento 820's are a high end bookshelf speaker retailing at £1200 that boast a 2 way design, stunning finish, but most importantly sound depth and quality that you couldn't imagine coming from a bookshelf. We've been a big fan of the 820's since we first heard them but now we're thrilled to share the views of widely respected reviewers, Tech Radar.

Tech Radar took the Vento 820's in for a full reviewing comparing them with much larger floor standing speakers, using different power suppliers, records, digital inputs and so on. All in all their feedback was good, very good in fact awarding the Vento's no less then 4 and a half stars!

AVForums, the UK's leading Home entertainment forum have recently released filmed a fantastic round up of the Canton Speaker Range. The video really highlights the world class technology and the wide range of products available to suit every price and situation.

The video shows how the Reference technology has filtered down into products like the Canton Chrono SL 570 and Chrono SL 580 as well as the multichannel home theatre systems such as the the Canton Movie 151, but also the MOvie 105 and 1000.2 systems.
