We've recently added Canton's active monitor speakers to our product line-up. These are excellent for anywhere you need great sound without a full hifi system. They feature a 5" driver and a 1" tweeter in a compact enclosure. There can be no denying that a proper speaker with a full size driver will always significantly out perform small speakers and these Canton Plus Media 3's really prove that point. They have a punchy bass response and impressive amount of detail, meaning they will be equally well suited as home studio speakers or on the end of some mixing deck's.
Great as High End PC speakers
They work really well as high end PC speakers, but our main use for them is to improve the sound quality of a TV, where the inbuilt speakers just aren't good enough.
Don't discount them in the simplest of systems either - direct from an MP3 player
