At www.highendspeaker.co.uk we get asked one question more than any others. What is the difference between the Canton Movie 80 CX and the Canton Movie 60 CX.
The answer is in the small details of the movie packages. They both boast exactly the same components, the same sub and appear very similar at face value. The main difference between the two is that the Canton Movie 80 CX cabinets are constructed from Aluminium and the Movie 60 CX are made from Plastic.
So what does this mean in the real world? In our opinion you can tell a difference in sound between the two models. We think that the Movie 80's have the edge over the 60's, especially when you crank them up a notch as the Aluminium cabinet provides a more solid house for the drivers.
The other main difference is the finishes available. The Movie 80's come in high gloss colors where the 60's only come in black and silver.
Both the Movie 80's and 60's are extremely popular due to the exceptional value that they offer. Which ever you choose, you won't be disappointed!
